Yes rape of a transwoman is rape of a male. They have changed their gender identification, they are unable to change their sex. So while they claim they are women, they will continue to be males no matter how much they wish they were not.

No matter how much you wish this was not the case, facts and science does not care about your wishes on this issue.

That is not what I wrote, but maybe you have a reading comprehension problem. So let me help you out here. I have never, and I mean never, remember seeing you show any concern about prison inmates raping each other before the change was made to move mentally ill males who think they are women back to male prisons. So, that means you really had no concern about the rape issue, until Transwomen (males) were being placed back with the male populations.

Also, have noticed that you have showed no concern about male (transwomen) on female rape in the Women prisons either. Which have happened and is one of the reasons why this change is happening in the first place. Which implies that you only care about this issue as it pertains to how it affects members of the LGBTQ+ community, and not in general.
