He just couldn't get attention in the 2000s/2010s because Obama was Prime Jordan, and Hilary, Warren and Bernie were supposed to be next, not him.
It's all about matchups though because while Hilary, Warren and Bernie were supposed to be next, only Biden had the skillset to beat Trump.
That's not what happened.
The Democratic power structure got in a room and had Sanders, Warren and some others who were leading in polls off and on and winning primaries were told to dropout and they did.
Joe wasn't the guy with the skillset he's just the guy the power brokers decided was the best mascot to get behind based on connections with Obama and his history in the party, not his skillset.
