What sentence is he suggesting for the officers? :jbhmm:
It was a sad thing that happened. Very sad thing I saw. I just didn't like it.

Nothing beyond that has he said related to the mans death. This is the response of someone who doesn't care but realized he has to appear sympathetic to some degree for good boy points. Equivalent to when you go to a funeral for someone you don't know and tell relatives who you don't know sorry or condolences. I mean it's sad in your mind someone died but I mean if don't know the guy or feel a connection with him you are just doing for the sake being nice than any actual heart ache.

When Trump saw that man murdered he didn't really feel anything. He probably assume the worse. He had a lot more anger about rioting and looting and damage to personal property. But he isnf alone. Most white people operate the same way. John Browns are rare.

I have to disagree here.

Trump is the president and is deliberately trying to incite violence against us. He's a DIRECT part of the problem that we're trying to fix.

Protesting against him is the same as protesting against white supremacy and racism.

Nobody is forgetting anything. He's constantly tweeting racist rhetoric.

We're supposed to ignore that coming from the president?

He's in a position to fix the shyt we mad about.

Nobody forgot about George Floyd. Especially this a$$hole when he used his name for his agenda multiple times.

There's a lot we have to be upset about without forgetting the purpose

The underlined I respect but have some issue with, the bolded I respectfully disagree with completely.

I do appreciate your response in totality, and I hope productive dialogue helps us somehow get closer towards a solution.

For the underlined, he's definitely not helping the issue. As for the bolded this isn't the first presidential administration we've seen black people killed by the police. Everyone on social media consistently updates this long list of names and quite a few died prior to trump taking office. Trump wasn't in office for Malice Green nor Rodney King so I take issue with putting all the focus on him. White supremacy/racism existed before him, and will likely exist after he's dead and gone.

Trump could die today, or get voted out in November and that wouldn't fix these problems. He could make an Obama like speech and it wouldn't fix these Problems. He can denounce white supremacy and racism (like he and many other presidents have done) and these problems won't disappear.

I'm a proponent of removing paid leave for officers involved in the killing of a citizen. If an investigation exonerates them fine, give them backpay. Maybe hitting their pockets will have an impact on their callousness when it comes to taking the life of someone. I can hate Trump all I want, but he didn't start this, and I doubt he can fix it.

Are people burning cities because of a dislike for Trump?

I thought this was all about George Floyd, and the continued injustice of police brutality and the killing of black people (mostly unarmed men) Why are we letting this be converted into an anti-Trump movement instead of forcing the agenda to stay on the SERIOUS PROBLEM of minority killings by police officers.

It sincerely saddens me that we can't stay focused on this issue long enough to ensure it gets addressed. We consistently fall for distraction after distraction and get away from the police system that allows this to continue to occur. I don't care about Trump. Trump hasn't shot or strangled anybody black to my knowledge, I care about a solution to that problem

people are unhappy with alot of things...
george floyd was just a catayst
if we had a president who we actually felt had our well being in mind the protests wouldnt have been so overwhelming...
if trump had responded correctly to covid our nation wouldnt be shut down this long
if trump had not told police its ok to rough up suspects we may have had more faith in the correction to the system
if trump had not antogonized the protestors... it wouldnt have emboldened them

trump helped pave the way for this ....
even GWB starting 2 wars and destroying the economy didnt get us to this

I do follow politics, and political propaganda frustrates the hell out of me. I'm in no way saying Trump had some great response to the Floyd killing. I have never voted a Republican candidate for president and don't even like Trump. He did state that the FBI was being directed to investigate the issue, and he CERTAINLY could be much more compassionate. This isn't about Trump though... fukk him

What frustrates my soul is a part of what you said though, and please take a second to SINCERELY think about this:

As much as I would like for people to concentrate on police brutality alone we have to acknowledge that people don't exist in a vacuum.

You have 40 million people out of work, a ton of high school and college kids that have been home with no outlets, a mismanaged pandemic, and an orange leader that has been riling up his base while enraging the other half of the country.

And after all of that he's pushing mass arrests of the protesters after supporting his base to liberate Michigan and a bunch of other states?
The pushback is pretty much inevitable

See: inverted fascism/totalitarianism, Managed Democracy, Illiberal Democracy, etc.

Guided democracy, also called managed democracy, is a formally democratic government that functions as a de facto autocracy. Such governments are legitimized by elections that are free and fair, but do not change the state’s policies, motives, and goals.

In other words, the government controls elections so that the people can exercise all their rights without truly changing public policy. While they follow basic democratic principles, there can be major deviations towards authoritarianism. Under managed democracy, the state's continuous use of propagandist techniques prevents the electorate from having a significant impact on policy.”

“An illiberal democracy, also called a partial democracy, low intensity democracy, empty democracy or guided democracy, is a governing system in which although elections take place, citizens are cut off from knowledge about the activities of those who exercise real power because of the lack of civil liberties; thus it is not an ‘open society.’”

Bunker Boy telling the governors they are weak when he went to hide when protesters showed up at his front doorstep? I really despise this dude.

It's clear we need to call his bluff. The more reckless he sounds the more of us show up in the streets. shyt - probably need to start planning a march on Washington for fukks sake. He needs to shut the fukk up.

I sincerely don't like Trump. With that said Wtf does the underlined mean, or have to do with anything?

If people are protesting, mostly peacefully but some violently is he supposed to just come out and start shaking people's hands and hope for the best? I doubt it was his choice but it's irrational to think they wouldn't take added steps to prevent anybody from going full rogue and assassinating him.

Joe Biden did

Honestly trump may be on to something.. if these protests are funded on George soros and they’re being televised to invoke martial law, bring in NWO one world government.. they may give UBI just to silence the lambs :ohhh:

It’s a mind fukk but nothing happens without the PTB (powers that be) being behind it. Problem reaction solution

Definition: Problem-Reaction-Solution is defined as the strategy of creating a crisis (the problem), waiting for a call for action to resolve the crisis (the reaction), then taking action (the solution), supposedly in response, which actually furthers a hidden agenda, usually gaining power

:sadcam:
George Soros has nothing to do with these protests.

Black people are just pissed.

Stop.
