They both did things that we now look back on in 2020 and see are wrong and damaged the black community, but 1) The intention was never to damage the black community, it was to make black communities safer and that was misguided in retrospect and 2) That doesn't eliminate the progressive policies they have pushed for in the past 10-15 years.
