Is there any proof Fort Knox is empty? I feel like this all ties into the conservative conspiracy theories telling everyone to buy gold (not saying gold is a bad play, but there's a big social media push behind it). I mean, it's a good idea if this many people are in doubt.

I watched a documentary a while back showing workers in Ft. Knox moving gold bars around for some kind of count. Taht would seem to blow up the idea the gold was sold 40 something years back.

EDIT: yeah this is bullshyt, the treasury secretary just said he visited and saw the gold himself was still there.
