The fact that there hasn't been a mass exodus of cabinet members shows one of two things:
1). They're all in it for their self interest
2). The insanity and stupidity that's running rampant isn't exclusive to 45

The banner under McMaster is bs and here's why. FM cannot even come into another countries embassy, ally or not. Whenever we had meetings with other diplomats, you either met at a restaurant or an annex. NEVER on the compound. And even afterwards you debriefed at a minimum 2 other agencies. There's other things that you did that I can't say but everyone knows it's spy games hence why you even have talking points and you briefed them to your LEGATT.

The idea that you can just wing it is the problem with Trump and a lot of his minions are using up whatever credibility they have to absorb his mess. Lot's of Republicans spend time railing about bureaucracy but they are put in place for a reason, one statement can have implications that are not always obvious when one goes off the cuff. McMaster initially defended this by saying nothing happened and also went to the sources and methods when people were talking about how intelligence agents can put 2 and 2 together and try to figure out the sources.
Feel sorry for McMaster trying to diffuse this in a professional matter, but the clown keeps on giving.
