Doubt BRICS will be able to all get on the same page enough to produce a single legitimate currency that would pose any threat to the dollar. Some of the most authoritarian govts in the world all with their own agendas.I hear you, I don’t agree with a lot of shyt America does internationally but I’m still American so I don’t want to see our economy go to shyt if brics fully executes their plan. The way I see it we can either try and fukk them over now before they get too far along or try to build stronger relationships (give money) with the countries involved in exchange for them agreeing to not create their own currency to buy oil with.
Countries around the world urgently looking for alternatives to the dollar is a done deal though. There's no stopping that ship. Everyone peeped how the US made one phone call and froze an enormous amount of Russia's reserves all around the world.
Any country with any president who has any common sense who sees what happened to Russia realizes that same sanction gun could be pointed at them for whatever bs reason the US feels like. You don't wait and hope it never happens. You start seeking out alternatives.
When you run the top currency in the world and continue to abuse its power then it's only matter of time before the rest of the world says fukk that.
Only saving grace right now is there is no legit alternative for countries to run to. But they are going to continue to cook up ways to start relying less and less on the dollar no matter what from here on out
