Meanwhile American citizens who pay taxes and pay for health insurance through work have to pay $3000 + deductible.

However this act in Maryland is probably a good thing. The prenant female mortality rate in this country is not good. Sounds like the bill is for lower income people that aren't covered..... which is gonna sweep pregnant migrants into it. Sound
We can argue that they shouldnt be covered at all in any situation. However, the main woman in the article is a DACA person. Realistically, she wasn't getting deported anyway.
As a nurse, I hate denying anyone healthcare. I think we need to focus on border security and deportations. I think seeking asylum needs to be looked at. I think we need to threatened Nicaragua with something because their lax immigration policy is affecting us here.
