But if the government doesn’t release any information then is there any real stagflation? It’s worst that a recession. America has been circling Stagflation since Covid. I think the bullshyt these people are doing pushes us into that and stagflation is worst than a recession and harder to get out of.
The thing that made me realize what was coming was this story. The American economy is in trouble and people don't even know it. If consumers are worried and are not spending then we we are headed into a recession and that orange imbecile will only make it worse. It’s worst that a recession. America has been circling Stagflation since Covid. I think the bullshyt these people are doing pushes us into that and stagflation is worst than a recession and harder to get out of.

It's an indirect way of getting Americans to boycott certain products. Colombian coffee will cost more than coffee from other regions so people will, in theory, stop buying it.Yeah I need someone to explain this to me like I’m 5. The other threat is people just stop buying stuff. What he is attempting to do makes more sense if he has a strong economy. Basically if he did this in 2016 it makes sense. It's an indirect way of getting Americans to boycott certain products. Colombian coffee will cost more than coffee from other regions so people will, in theory, stop buying it.
The risk, in my opinion, is the world market adapting to a world where it doesn't rely on America. If one person is unreliable and playing hard ball, the alternative is strengthening ties with others.
I also think people would do well to track the investment trends of those around him. It'll be interesting seeing how many people he's close to invest in competitors before the tariffs are announced.
