BRUH WTF?
I already told you this idea sounds great on paper.Let’s talk real talk Dr King realized at the end of his life he made a mistake and we integrated since. My mother as a kid went to an all black elementary school so it wasn’t that long ago. So ever since civil right, women liberation we’ve been awarded rights that allegedly pushed us forward or so it seemed. A lot of women got those benefits because the man was not suppose to be there. Even today when they go around and check those public housing a man can’t be there. So would you take 40 years of public assistance or 40 years of black people standing together raising kids as a unit?So since integration a lot of our people was under control or they got jobs moved around white people and took their money in mixed communities.
Who gives a shyt if you're married if you can't afford to feed your family? Can we see the numbers for single parent households?
We didn’t need them. We had our own baseball league. We had Jackie Robinson. Even MLK realized at the end it wasn’t for us.
Imagine an all black NBA owned by our people. Letting outsiders in and exploiting us for a paycheck has been a downfall. The other nations don’t have our best interest they use and exploit us for gain. Look at what they done to hip hop. After they made billions exploited and pushed nonsense in our communities for 50 years they now saying we didn’t create it.
I’m going to be honest it’s not a realistic goal. It’s going to be bad out here and get worse until the Father send his son to redeem us. I think we should get into the scriptures and seek the Lord for salvation and guidance.I already told you this idea sounds great on paper.
What I'm asking you is if this goal is realistic, and what are the realistic steps for black people to live in a segregated society.
Well the price of things was different then but man’s wealth is his family.Who gives a shyt if you're married if you can't afford to feed your family?
Price is irrelevant. The poverty level changes based on cost of living.Well the price of things was different then but man’s wealth is his family.
Breh you had me at the negro leagues and do for self, what the hellWe was doing well during oppression.
You know I appreciate and respect our legacy in this country. I know our people had it hard out here that’s why I made it a priority to take advantage of everything and stand on my own two out here I never lacked or took anything for granted. The thing is we assimilated to the point of we don’t even know who we are, this generation is disrespectful. We don’t carry honor and integrity that our forefathers and mothers carried and I think it’s systematically engrained in us not to be prestigious.Crazy you pointed this out that it took almost a fukking century for the negro league stats to actually matter in the MLB.
Nevermind the fact that some of the MLB teams actually played against the negro league teams, but nobody will ever know that because our history is a afterthought.
Same goes with hip hop. There will never EVER going to be a time of Master P, Baby, and etc actually moving independently and making cacs think heads were selling dope
Maybe it's time to go back to the basics. Do for self, because at the end of the day, we got too goddamn comfortable to not see the endgame of white supremacy.
E-militants are something else, breh.Breh you had me at the negro leagues and do for self, what the hell![]()
The only thing making you think things are better is we live in a technological age. Take away social media, cell phones, internet, television. We back in the days all over again. Difference is can this generation of black men crop? Do we have the basic survival tools to live if we lose technology? Let’s dialoguePrice is irrelevant. The poverty level changes based on cost of living.
And now it doesn't matter if the majority of Black folk lived in dire poverty, as long as there were fewer divorces? There were fewer divorces during slavery. Was that a better time?
Useless hypothetical. Most people can't farm, and being forced back into subsistence farming is not a good thing. The only thing making you think things are better is we live in a technological age. Sorry but we are STILL dealing with oppressionWe was doing well during oppression.
It’s not useless. I pointed out our families were stronger back then than they are now. So if we needed to come together to survive and depend on our brother would we? Times seem different but they really not it’s just an illusion because we have technology.Useless hypothetical. FTFY...taking away workers rights away for the entire remaining workforce. This is my area of expertise. I've already started bracing myself for the inevitable after the news about the SSA EEO office got shutdown. You do this on top of reduce everyones travel card to a $1 plus bar anyone from attending recertification training/professional development, and reduce GPCs to $1 which prohibits OCR&EEO offices from hiring outside investigators/counselors to make up for the reduction in staff. The workforce is already hesitant to utilize and believes those offices are already on the side of management. This will only exacerbate that belief. After they dismantle this, they're coming for OSHA then the cyphers complete. The remaining workers won't have a fukkin thing in the way of protections except for the unions who, and just my opinion, don't do shyt. Some of yall really don't understand white supremacy. They are literally reversing the clock to the early 1900's.
