I don’t understand how there aren’t rules and provisions in place that would hold politicians accountable if they were found to be aiding and abetting other politicians committing a crime (even if it’s the President) :gucci: Don’t make no sense for Mitch McConnell to be acting this way. You can be a Republican but you still gotta follow the law. If he was a civilian working at any company facing allegations of corruption or was the District Attorney/Mayor/Governor and was saying he’d never work with the authorities and would block everything he could to stop the investigation, he’d be in front of the judge next. But because it’s politics, it’s okay.

Nah breh. You're being too much of a pessimist.

The 2018 midterms was the worst midterms loss for the GOP in 44 years (since the anti-GOP backlash to Watergate in 1974). Democrats won the national popular vote by over 9% and turnout in 2018 was 50.4%. That's the largest turnout for a midterm election in a century.

Also, Democrats have been making substantial gains ALL across the country since Trump was elected. Turnout among Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters is record high in most of the country. Democrats have been picking up seats from the local level to the federal level that they haven't won in decades or centuries. There are Democrats in Congress that are from Utah (Ben McAdams) and Oklahoma (Kendra Horn). You can't tell me that not because of Trump - that's DIRECTLY because Trump. Andy Beshear & John Bel Edwards won their elections DESPITE Trump campaigning for their opponents. Sen. Jon Tester of Montana won re-election in 2018 with over 50% of the vote for the FIRST TIME even though Trump heavily campaigned for his opponent and Montana is generally a red/Republican state.

50% of Americans want Trump to be impeached AND removed. Trump has remained consistently UNPOPULAR & his approval rating has barely changed since taking office. C'mon breh. There definitely should be more people against Trump but most Americans are fed/against with him.
