I don’t understand how there aren’t rules and provisions in place that would hold politicians accountable if they were found to be aiding and abetting other politicians committing a crime (even if it’s the President)
Don’t make no sense for Mitch McConnell to be acting this way. You can be a Republican but you still gotta follow the law. If he was a civilian working at any company facing allegations of corruption or was the District Attorney/Mayor/Governor and was saying he’d never work with the authorities and would block everything he could to stop the investigation, he’d be in front of the judge next. But because it’s politics, it’s okay.
