So do you think Romney will break from Trump before 2020?
I don’t mean a “fierce rebuke” of some policy in an op-ed or something but actually say he doesn’t support his re-election, or that he supports removing him for office?
I don’t.
My position is sticking with or criticizing Trump doesn't seem to have much sway in Utah.
Romney will continue to criticize Trump whenever he feels like it and give him kudos whenever he feels like it.
For perspective, McConnell has been covering for Dotard from day 1 and he's the most unpopular senator in the country.
If Republicans decide to move on from Trump and vote for his removal I don't think there will be much blowback because Republicans arent going to sit out in 2020 and give dems more control. There is no accelerationist agenda for Republicans that involves sitting out.
