Yeah so it’s been a month and Trump’s approval rating hasn’t dipped, his fundraising skyrocketed, he hasn’t lost a single Congress member over the Ukraine scandal, isn’t getting removed from office and he’s in no worse an electoral position than he was before the scandal.

Is it ok to point this out again yet without being dismissed as a concern troll or Trump supporter? Just asking.

Mitch McConnell wrote an Op-ed criticizing Trump. I'd say a lot has changed in Trumpland over the last 3 weeks.

Here's a recap

https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...aa864c-f1d4-11e9-89eb-ec56cd414732_story.html

President Trump, whose paramount concern long has been showing strength, has entered the most challenging stretch of his term, weakened on virtually every front and in danger of being forced from office as the impeachment inquiry intensifies.

Trump now finds himself mired in a season of weakness. Foreign leaders feel emboldened to reject his pleas or to contradict him. Officials inside his administration are openly defying his wishes by participating in the impeachment probe. Federal courts have ruled against him. Republican lawmakers are criticizing him. He has lost control over major conservative media organs. Polling shows that Americans increasingly disapprove of his job performance and support his impeachment.

And in a rare concession to his critics, Trump announced late Saturday that he no longer plans to host the Group of Seven summit of world leaders at his Florida golf club, folding after two days of intense criticism over having picked his own property as the venue for a diplomatic gathering.

McConnell’s op-ed was about Turkey/Syria, not impeachment.

Though I guess one can assume he removed troops to protect the Kurds in order to distract from impeachment. The Ukraine scandal and impeachment over it itself hasn’t moved the needle in polling or congressional support though.

Hopefully impeachment forces him into more unforced errors. That’s probably our best hope.

To the contrary that post was very nuanced. But anyway...

Fact: Trump has the same approval rating he had pre and post Ukraine...nationally and state by state.

Fact: Trump hasn’t lost a single R in Congress over Ukraine.

Fact: Trump’s fundraising skyrocketed.

You seem to have missed the polls that posters drop showing support for impeachment continues to grow. Fascinating you seem to expect immediate results though, especially with only one public hearring so far. Would you turn on President Bernie if he doesn't deliver MFA in the first month of his term, or is that just different?

Until this all plays out every single one of you posting the same "Trumps untouchable" talking points with every new update is concern trolling. You all offer nothing new or of substance. You wanna express your doubts a few times thats fine, but when you're doing it the majority of the week every week, you shouldn't be surprised at the shyt you get

Fact: Trump hasn’t lost a single R in Congress over Ukraine.

I am curious why you continue to repeat this as if its true?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...e56612-f1b8-11e9-89eb-ec56cd414732_story.html

In interviews with more than 20 GOP lawmakers and congressional aides in the past 48 hours, many said they were repulsed by Trump’s decision to host an international summit at his own resort and incensed by acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney’s admission — later withdrawn — that U.S. aid to Ukraine was withheld for political reasons. Others expressed anger over the president’s abandonment of Kurdish allies in Syria.

One Republican, Rep. Francis Rooney (Fla.) — whose district Trump carried by 22 percentage points — did not rule out voting to impeach the president and compared the situation to the Watergate scandal that ended Richard Nixon’s presidency.

Rooney is just a singular example of how you're wrong.

His fundraising has skyrocketed because his surrogates are multi-millionaires and the source of contributions has always centered around the large donations he has gotten from a smaller group of wealthy donors - this is not new. He had millions of dollars in his coffers prior to the primaries. Trump is not receiving small grass roots donations from a large contingent of supporters. This is yet another baffling and disingenuous talking point to play down the effect that his Ukraine actions have had on his presidency.

And you all wonder why you get reported for low quality posting and generally get sh*t on, these posts are a perfect example.

Trump’s approval rating number is more important than the number of those who support an impeachment inquiry. Polls that show support for not just impeachment but removal peak at 52%. Trump has already proven he can win with less than 50% of voters as long as they’re in the right states.

You have to admit those of you who celebrated the surefire death of Trump’s presidency a month ago are looking a little funny in the light now that it’s had a month to settle in and the polls are the same and he still has the full backing of the R Congress.
