Not at all for his policies, it's just the strength of the US economy helped by the FED and Obama + older regulations and policies that Obama couldn't touch. Trump's tax cut will however have good implications on US employment, in the short-term but blow up in our face when the economy isn't as strong, specially people on the lower half of the economic scale. Just like the policies Bush put forward; increase spending, decrease income.

I use to be a certified forklift driver during college still am...
Most forklift gigs started at 15 or better..but right to work policies allowed you to be replaced by some undocumented mexican willing to do it for 10 or less..
Or using subcontractor or temp agencies which HIRE anybody...
I work with HR to get employees for my project and i been getting meth heads and felons...cause the company to cheap to do screens

The black unemployment rate Obama left Trump was at the exact same level that Obama inherited from Bush. In 2011 black unemployment was at the worst rate since the 80s. The GLOBAL financial crisis was in 07/08, US had the worst recovery of any major western nation between 09-011. Obamas presidency was one big yoyo for black folk, shyt got better yes, after shyt got way worse than it ever was under Bush. There are so many mitigating factors that determine the economy attributing it to the sitting Prez has always been dumb but if you're going to go that route stick to it.

At the peak Obama had been president for 1 year, which is what Bush left him with. That whole way down was his presidency. People need to understand that Obamas whole presidency was just about healing the country from one of the worst crises ever and setting up a solid platform for then next person to actually do some good shyt.
