Even if things were delayed until December 14th, the states' electors would be forced to certify the winner based on today's ruling. There will be an election. Trump will claim fraud. This reads like a plot on House of Cards. Not going to say it is impossible, but this scenario is highly unlikely. However our voting system is a mess. The GOP is doing everything in their power to suppress votes. Also, we need a constitutional amendment to abolish the electoral college.
