I'm horrified by another Trump presidency.
I'm just stating what I'm noticing (with the stipulation of if the election happened today - which it isn't). There seems to be two major issues for Biden: (1) Inflation (the economy) - People feel like the economy was better under Trump (even though I know that we would be facing the same issues if he was still president, a lot of the general public doesn't see it that way). (2) Us backing Israel in the war in Gaza - extremely unpopular with younger people who the Democrats normally have a substantial advantage with (again even though Trump would have the same policies here).

You are not supposed to pay attention to Presidential polls until after Labor day.

Shout to you for believing that Biden has the type of support right now that you aren't worried that he won't win this upcoming election. This isn't just a polls thing.
Libertarians would never vote for Biden under any circumstances. That is not even an option. Trump is the one that needs the Libertarians to vote for him, which is why he appeared at their convention to begin with.
Nobody has been watching the last few Republican Presidential primaries, but Nikki Haley has consistently getting near 20% of the vote even though she dropped out of the race 2 months ago. Those are protest Republican voters called never Trumpers, so they are not going to vote for Trump. Those pissed off Republican voters will either vote Libertarian or for Biden which is why Trump wants that Libertarian nomination.
Biden has more support than Trump. Right now you are listening to media pundits and other folks that have you believing that Trump has this groundswell of support. He doesn't. All that you have to do is look at all of the midterm and special elections since the Fall of 2022. The Republicans have gotten waxed and the key issue is abortion. That is a losing issue for Republicans and definitely for Trump.
