That's not going to happen.

At this point people's opinions about Trump are set in stone, I doubt anybody has changed their mind about him since like 2017.


If he did something illegal then feds need to just do their job but politically I don't see public opinion changing.

• Conspiracy to contribute services to Al Qaeda

• Using and carrying firearms and destructive devices during crimes of violence

What he pleaded to in a plea deal:

• supplying services to the Taliban
• carrying an explosive during the commission of a felony

If they have a smoking gun, they'll probably hit him with mishandling and/or unauthorized removal of classified info

On CNN John King stated that sources are stating that Trump had information on USA "special access programs" which addresses US nuclear capabilities. That is why the DOJ National Security and FBI did the raid.

The NYT stated that special access programs clearance is even more secret than top secret clearance and a person has to have a special clearance above top secret to have access to the documents. Trump would literally have no legit reasons for having those documents.

Honestly, who knows especially since we don't have much info about what he had.

But it's Trump so I wouldn't necessarily assume he had a logical motive. I wouldn't put it past him to have just taken the intel out of spite.


Also possible he was going to sell it or something. But even if he was trying to blackmail the govt I'm not sure why he'd need physical documents..
