McDonalds was always backed up to the road, so it was convenient to pull in and out of Hardees in five minutes or less. It was sausage, egg, & cheese or bacon, egg, & cheese, or egg & cheese. It was whatever I was feeling like. Add the little hash rounds, and orange juice or coffee, and I was ready to get my day going.

The one I used to hit up closed last summer. The pandemic got it. Granted, it had been like a decade since I last ate there so it doesn't surprise me to hear those times sadly changed.
