While the hypocrisy is obvious, when you walk around unarmed, these people get more bold.

If everyone is tooled up, then these cops will definitely think twice before pulling any bullshyt. At the end of the day, they want to go home to their families alive regardless of what their job title is. A large disciplined and armed group of black men on the streets will keep these cacs in check. Right now, its a lot of 20 yo kids who are just acting out, not that it isn't justified, but these people are easier to put down than a bunch of men with AR15s. Use their tactics against them.
