This is why personally I'm against any racism and oppression regardless of the target because once you normalize it against one group, the next step to the next group is very easy for society to accept. Regardless of how I feel about some members of a particular group. Also it's a simple rule to follow without having to care about exceptions. If everyone is granted basic liberty and human rights, it works out for you better in the end.

Anyone who tries to normalize this being done to "tethers" or immigrants is leading you down a bad path that will hurt you eventually. For me, it's not about caping or "muling" for other groups. It's about my self interest even if it's not specifically targeting me now. Because it's easy to see how these things can spread if not cut off at the root. Don't even let it catch root as a general principle.
