Social security/medicare will be interesting. I could see Don getting murked by an angry old cac Vietnam veteran if he cuts it. I think he will talk big shyt but fall back when Repubs let him know cutting it would damn near ensure a blue wave in 2026.

Too old for that primal "fire" to take it there. A Vietnam vet is 70+ now.

If that scenario plays out it would be a Black/Spec Ops from War on Terror/Iraqi Freedom. Desert Storm at the oldest, but probably the former.

Stood tall for his country after 9/11, fresh-2 years outta high school leaving the blue-collar connect his father/uncle had lined up, mids 40s and seeing his PTSD was for naught.

Yall are probably exaggerating a bit with some of these predictions. While I do think some things will get worse, it’s not going to be the apocalyptic scenario that yall are describing

Trump is ego driven first and foremost. He’s not gonna do shyt that will turn the public against him or cause a civil war. He wants to have a favorable legacy as a president, it’s literally all he talks about. I doubt he wants to go down as the president that destroyed the country or sent us into the next Great Depression.

I think it’s going to be pretty similar to his first term outside of immigration and Ukraine aid. He’s gonna go hard on that.

I don’t see it…we’ve been through a Trump presidency before. Remember, even the most racist, dumb, far right MAGA nuts still want to have money in their pockets, groceries affordable, be able to retire, and be able to get healthcare.

These predictions that he’s going to crash the economy, send us in a Great Depression, start a civil war, and possibly thrust us into WW3 etc would make him public enemy #1 and pretty much ruin the GOP going forward. Dems would damn near be guaranteed control next election.

Like I said, I could be wrong but I just don’t see any of that happening.

I expect the first two years to be a complete shyt show, but he slowly stops making appearances during the final two due to age and failing health. Vance takes a more direct role but never catches on.
I think they try to push for some extremist agenda, but in fighting, greed and general incompetence rears its head again for some of this.

Internationally... lol who the fukk even knows. I think he'll keep his NATO threats, but they'll just be threats. Don't know what'll happen to Gaza, but Israel will be pleased and one of his family members will get a nice piece.

Over time, even the right wingers start to turn on him because he is too extreme for the chucklefukk moderates/"Centrists" and midwesterners, and not extreme enough for the racists. Grifters will see a boost for the full year, but slowly lose their share due to unpopular policies.

Overall, the one thing we can be sure is that his team will be grossly incompetent even with an agenda because we know he ain't reading that shyt and craves for attention above anything else.

Again, the GOP has taken the legislative branch overall. The training wheels are off.

MAGA nuts aren't smart enough to understand the cabal is playing them. Moderate right wingers aren't going to play against their own party. The fact of the matter is the Red side, both politicians and voters, is much more unform and narrow on agenda/policy.

Crash the economy? Why not?

Great Depression? Hope it doesn't get that bad, but we're not about to improve.

Civil war? Not possible when the nation just showed you the code they're on.
