Kanye's first 5 are classics, bar none. He had one classic with Jay, so I guess that cancels out. So just doing the math, does Jay have 5 classics?

RD, vol 2, Blueprint, Black Album, AG are not up for debate imho. Bp3 is classic to me, so that's six. 4:44... 7... Eh. Jay.

Reasonable Doubt is the only “true” classic from Hov. True classic meaning top 10-20 type of albums

Blueprint is overrated, but is is classic, but not a classic in the same vein as RD, liquid Swords, ATLiens, doggystyle, etc.

Black Album is not a classic. American Gangstercould be considered a classic like blueprint is a classic

I don’t love All of Kanye’s music, but he’s innovative af and proooobably he has *more*classic albums, but *none* of them are better than Reasonable Doubt.

Also, another day another Hov legacy slander thread which will undoubtedly go for 10+ pages.

I’m in a disagreement of throwing the term “classic” out to this degree.

In no way shape or form is BP3 classic.

Vol 2 might be his worst album of his prime, def not a classic.

Just bc Time has passed since an albums release does not mean the album is now deemed a classic.

A few Classic songs don’t automatically make an album classic either.

Hmm...ok? I mean, it had the Cole debut, that New York song, run this town, on to the next one (which is dope as shyt!), And death of autotune. Landmark Kanye and Drake features. And let's not act like that forever young jawn ain't the jawn.

Bp3 and 4:44 on the same level to me so I included it. Even without, Jay has more than Kanye.

Kanye has about 4-5 albums I would designate as classic. Jay Z has 1.5-3 depending on how I'm feeling that day.
