There are two people dancing you see people eating at their table and walking and doing their own business. There is not a dance floor it’s still unappropriate behavior and it’s pretty embarrassing.

Also that’s like saying a man should start grinding on a woman because some music’s playing and she’s dancing like it was a night club

I mean people are supposed to be able to converse among themselves. Yet they’re doing yeah and making loud noises when only two of them are dancing it’s not like a big group and it’s not like the crowd is egging them on

Fish was fried to perfection. When I went, seemed like the Skillman spot didn't have everything up and running like the Mesquite location. Definitely worth a visit.

I been to the one in mesquite alot. I fucc wit the drinks. The food good to but kinda expensive. Anyone tried the gumbo?

He asked them three times. Also everyone’s eating experience was interrupted by that girl Twerking and standing on a couch were multiple people complained.

I love it how black people have to act perfectly he’s not a politician he’s just trying to run out of restaurant which is hard enough.

Allah black people think just because they spend money on a place they can act anyway they feel like.

Only in a black spot. If the same music came on in a random Highland Park restaurant that was full of white people, they would have done the bankhead bounce and stayed seated.

They only got hyped because it's a black restaurant and felt they could do whatever.

Now having said that....the owner needs to decide if he wants a club or a restaurant. Seems like this spot is flirting with both. Stick to R & B, neo soul and jazz music. Maybe some Pac. Easy listening but not shyt people want to dance to.

i checked it out. that wasn't a twerker but just a lady in the restaurant, and tbh it made the owner look bad and i'm against the twerkery


she said they gave her some excuse why they weren't serving water cuz they didn't have enough clean water glasses. so she had to order alcohol. she said after like an hour she still had no food they were just giving shots..so everybody was basically drunk, hungry and listening to loud ratchet music. the owner even offered the twerker a drink at the bar then when the lady in the video tried to give him "owner to owner" advice after he exploded he told her he stay booked n paid whether she visits or not



she said she has video of him being ok with dancing as a group did a line dance & he told the dancers they were lit. she thinks he blew up when it escalated to someone dancing on his furniture & the glass (understandable)


he def need to be a bit more consistent. if dancing is an issue don't encourage it and allow people to get water so they aren't drunk. the water excuse makes no sense to me. i figured maybe it was for more money or something


and yes still those ladies need to stay home if they can't hold their liquor.

That's what I thought when I read that story. nikka is just trying to get people to spend money on booze. They probably hate when people come in there and order non-alcoholic drinks. But what the fukk you think is going to happen when you have people drinking on empty stomachs without water. They're going to get lit. Not excusing that woman's dirty behavior, but you gotta understand the results of doing shyt like that.

How did you miss the entire point? He can have his rules. He handled it terribly. There was no reason to interrupt everyones experience with that rant. its people there who are paying to eat there that had nothing to do with that situation and hes scolding the entire dining room. FOH

I don’t know exactly what let to that rant but he felt he had to do it. It’s his restaurant so he can handle it however he wants. You can choose to leave and never come back if you want. He’s probably going to get a bunch of new customers off this too. Look at how people are going in on him online now... Now the people are going to decide what they want to do as far as going there again or not.
