when blown up it says 'notice king'...to me, it seems this is a coincidence more than anything else

Brehs, I went back and watched ep 3. Rust is that dude and all, but he barely even looked Remus in the eyes. He was looking all around. He shoulda noticed the scars, cuz they were visible when u look. 
Honestly, that scene of Marty surfing Match.com and BlackPeopleMeet hit me harder than most scenes this season. Harrelson doesn't display any sadness at all. He's resigned himself to this life a long time ago. That's scary to me. That resignation to a life of loneliness knowing that you have no one to blame but yourself
That was an ill montage indeed. Showing how both of their lives became empty and meaningless was sad

On second thought they could probably pull off a good impactful ending in an hour. It'll have to be light on the character development which is cool cause most of the major players are pretty developed characters already.
The picture was retweeted by the creator of the show, and he usually shoots fan theories down. So I'm assuming it was intentional.

maybe....or he couldve just thought it was cool someone took the time to do that....i mean, you had to blow up the shot to the right size, pause it at the right moment, etc. to get that....i'm digging the show and shooting the shyt about it, but that takes dedication lol...

This show has been pure unadulterated crack this whole season. I know that Pizzolatto is going to pull a twist ending that may not leave us with the gratification we crave. Everything about this show has been a slow burn and I cant see the ending being any different.
One hour is not enough time to answer all the questions, lead Rust and Marty to the lawnmower man and bring him to justice, expose the Tuttle family history, regain credibility to exonerate Rust as a suspect and basically tie the knot and bring closure to Rust and Marty's journey....
I have a feeling the ending will be completely left-field and more about Rust and Marty as MEN finding some sort of meaning in their lives. It may end up being better than any of us could guess....I just hope its not some Sopranos bullshyt

skipped the entire thread because i just started watching this shyt. A lot of people said episode 1 was boring but i thought it was great. A lot themes going on too.
-the part where the preacher is talking about superstition and tying pieces of wood together to ward of evil, and the camera zooms in on the cross which is also two piece of wood tied together was great.
