never know, this could be an insurance grab by the shipping company. They might not make money off the product bc Apple freezes the products but it’s still worth something to those that report it stolen.

I would like a Linux phone but I’m locked in the iTunes/Apple Music eco system
I'll probably get the Librem 5 but they still have some work to do. The pinephone seems a bit clunky and I want more security that that offers. I'd go back to playing cassette tapes if that was the only way to stop the privacy creep.
It's a bit harder to know what to do about laptop hardware as sooner or later you have to upgrade the physical machine and then you run the risk of sub-OS backdoors.
