I hope Troy Ave is innocent and what dude said about him just grabbing and retaliating is true

He could be innocent
He could have been retaliating

But that still doesn't change the fact he was a prohibited person carrying a gun, outside being a cop or a millionaire it's impossible to get a handgun permit in NY.

Dudes from the NYC /nj area can tell you how serious of a charge that alone is

They might be on that bullshyt.
I know in Ohio, if one of your accomplices or people get hit while you commit a crime, you get charged for their murder.
Some dudes hit a lick in Cleveland, one of their mans got bust, and the driver got charged for his body.
The shooter got off self defense, castle law statute.
Yeah, felony murder. There's the infamous case of a guy in Florida who was at a party and lent his car to a couple of his friends to go rob a drug dealer's house. The robbery got botched and one of the guys beat a girl in the house to death with a shotgun. The dude who lent them his car wasn't there, he stayed back at the party, but because he let them use his car in the commission of the crime, he was charged and convicted of the murder as well. He initially got life, but they commuted it down to 25 years.

It jammed on him because he didn't know how to shoot it. It obviously wasn't his gun.
