None of the videos show anyone shooting at Troy Ave though., who we see come out of a room and randomly lets off a shot. Dude obviously was in no danger had he just stayed in that room. Whole lot of speculation on your part in his defense.

Aint nobody defending Troy Ave it's called common fukking sense... if I hear multiple shots go off in rapid succession, 20 secs of silence, and I hear two shots go off that sounds completely different than the ones I heard before I'm gonna assume that someone is returning fire

If he they recovered the firearm a simple ballistics test will prove if his gun killed the man or not.

Either way he is royally fukked with that footage. Shooting aimlessly inside a club after you ran through a door towards the commotion is not a valid self defense argument. Especially not NYC. He is done.

How does this look like retaliation/self defense based on just this video? They didn't duck any shots, no one is shown shooting at Troy Ave, and you can't see what Troy Ave was shooting at either.

Plus he came through a closed door TOWARDS the commotion - and he was shooting willy nilly.
