I don't know how it is in ny but around my way, self defense get thru out the window once the accused is no longer in imminent danger. shyts beyond crazy, hope Troy dont end up doing life behind this...can't believe he wasn't firing in retaliation but I'm sure the story will emerge one way or another 
UPDATE 5/31/16 1:30PM: According to PIX11, another shooter is being searched for in connection to the Irving Plaza shooting. Previously, it was believed that Troy Ave was the lone shooter last Wednesday night which resulted in three injured, including Troy, and one dead, BSBBanga. However, investigators say it may have been another man who shot both Troy and Banga.
New surveillance footage allegedly shows Troy limping out of the green room with blood stains on his pants. Also seen in the video is Banga. PIX11 sites a source who said Troy got into a physical altercation with another man who then pulled out a gun and shot the rapper in the leg and Banga in the stomach. From there, sources close to the investigation said Troy and the man wrestled for the gun, which led to another shot going off in Irving Plaza.
