I got a gun and license in FL. If I travel with it to NY and I get pulled over is it illegal in that city? I'm a little confused by that

You will be knocked.

Your FL license has no say in NYC they do not honor out of state license.

If you want a pistol in NYC you need a license from Bratton.

If your passing through to another state it needs to be locked up. Ammo & weapon would need to be in a lockbox in the trunk of car and the trip uninterrupted.

That's kind of a stretch to say somebody was thinking that methodically in a situation like this but not impossible I guess. The only image we see is Troy Ave chasing somebody with a gun and firing and police are pinning the whole shooting on Troy. The pressure will be on for him to lay out exactly what happened for police which will mean implicating other people. I wonder if he will go that route.

Troy Ave need not let this situation bankrupt him. By using a public defender and taking quick plea deals, he can minimize his legal fees.

The ballistics are damning so far. I hope the authorities pull a bullet out of somebody (who was shot at the venue) that DOES NOT match the gun Troy Ave was holding. Spread the liability around. Make like he didn't START the gun fight. Give this man a break. Lord have mercy. It looks bleak.

Yeah I'm pretty sure with an illegal weapon no matter if you picked it up or not in "self defense" like this situation & there are prior bodies on it it's still criminal possession & you'll be charged if there's a lack of proof of someone else committing those crimes

Edit: The police are going to know if someone else had possession of the weapon prior to Ave either way w/ fingerprints I'm sure they are just gathering all the unreleased info & video, ballistics, fingerprints etc to make a case to charge whoever killed Banga.
