exactly... i can remember multiple times my own mother leap to the aid of perfect strangers
once in nyc... she's driving up the road and something is in the road.. multiple cars are slowing down, then going around this object... she slows up to see it's a man laying there who's been shot. she stops, gets out the car, calls 911 and waits with him till the ambulance shows up..... could a nikka have come back to finish the job... sure...

As someone who's not even paying attention to shyt, that sounds corny, sounds like some shyt out of a movie.
Shots are ringing out, now if you're used to shots ringing out, like really used to it then you might have the framework to movie a certain way. If not you're probably moving subconsciously at that point. I don't know the extent of everybodies relationship but expecting him to "hug Ricky's bloody body" in that moment is unreasonable.
