I just opened the door, no rain. Then I sat down, it just started to flood with rain I've seen nothing like this before. This city is something when it comes to over the top shyt. Over the top heat and humidity and over the top rain and we don't have the infrastructure like say, Miami.

Yes there is a huge problem with racism and white supremacy in the US but the "all cacs are evil" gets put into perspective when you see people of all races coming together using there own resources time and putting there health at risk to help others. It's a beautiful thing.

A lot of people could be like not my problem. Most of the volunteers aren't getting paid.



Be safe out there, and if there is any advice I can give it's just take everything a day at a time. Losing everything or close to it can literally make you shut down mentally.

But nah, it just really put things in perspective. There are plenty of injustices in the world especially the US.... but you realize how "1st world" or "insignificant" and detached from reality a lot of them are when your house is flooded to the roof, you got no were to call a home and your lifes work just got blown or washed away.

At that point the race or nationality of the person helping you doesn't mean a thing.

Dry air is being sucked into the core of Harvey weakening the system and the rain bands. The weather man was damn near disappointed. They said fukk it and released the reservoirs early.
