Coca-Cola Allows Men To 'Steal' Water For Harvey Victims

Stealing is against the law, unless, of course, the “offender” has permission from one of the world’s largest companies. Victims of Hurricane Harvey are short on water, so Coca-Cola allowed two men to break into their facility in Beaumont, Texas, to “steal” 14 cases of bottled water Saturday, USA Today reported Monday.

There were thousands of bottles of fresh water at Coca-Cola’s warehouse, but flooding prevented the company from distributing it. They informed Beaumont’s Fire Department, who then turned to Bill Zang, the president of the Hovercraft Unlimited Company, could wade through the flooded streets of Beaumont at 60 miles per hour on his hovercraft.

So are they really gonna let these folks with 500k - 1 mil houses and no insurance lose their homes with no help?

I know they don't care about poor people, but I'd be shocked if they watched these upper middle class folks fall apart

Those folks in $500k-$1mil homes already got money or probably at the very least got home equity built up. I'm not in the flood zone and I got flood insurance, if you leave in or around Houston and don't have flood insurance, pretty fukking stupid. Peace of mind for $400, yeah sign me the fukk up. Crazy thing I was in the process of dropping it this year, decided against it.
