they're not sure yet, hopefully it weakens but it's predicted to go from a tropical storm tonight to a hurricane sometime tomorrow, right now it's only 8mph short of a hurricane.

what about that power plant that's gonna explode, have they fixed that yet?? why aren't they mentioning that yet???

Conspiracy theories about controlling weather, come on.

Here's what it comes down to:
  • Those coastal cities in the south, by geographical location are more susceptible to hurricanes. It's common knowledge.
  • It's also common knowledge that people move there from the other coastal cities because it's cheaper.
Put those two together and this is what happens.

In contrast, saying the plan to box folks into those cities to put them in path for natural disasters would be a better, more logical argument and opens up queries and solutions to the actual problems. Maybe people will consider alternatives, even outside of the country rather than moving to those cities.

Anyways, prayers and best wishes to those people out in Houston.

You know what's a sad irony about all these annual hurricanes and flooding is that Americans insist on clustering in cities along the rim of the country when there are hundreds of thousands of uninhabited sq miles within. :mindblown:

May be talking out of my ass but i think all the islands and cities near the coast in the world will disappear in the next century due to rise of the sea level :sadcam:
