Man you lucky. I have one by me that's closed and I can't even get near the other since it's flooded. All I have is 2 nasty ass four lokos in the fridge.

I'm extremely lucky, extremely blessed :mjcry: My parents are in a good location we options and low flooding. That's why when I saw my house it wasn't even affecting me like it would have. Looking at other people it could have been way worse.

I got a bottle of wine and some vodka

Called my folks out in Liberty to check on them and I was greeted with my folks singing gospel in the background and my uncle crying, going in hard with prayers for everybody.. I've never heard or seen my uncle crying EVER which in return made me break down.

They're getting hit, not as bad as Houston but almost all the major roads are closed off due to flooding in certain areas and there's a voluntary evacuation order for the city but they are staying put.

You can shyt on Osteen for a lot of things but I can't blame him here.

You can say he should open his church as a shelter but WHO is going to go down there an open it? Then once it's open who is going to be on staff to make sure everything is orderly and people aren't in there doing things they shouldn't, so now you need security. Would the government route food and water to the church instead of official shelters and where is the staff to organize this coming from?

It's a lot more to it than just unlock the door.

I agree with you and @Rarely-Wrong Liggins...No one is taking into account the logistics of such a move.

It is his general inaction of the situation. He is very social media Friendly and could have made a public donation and plan for a relief effort but all he has done is just copy and paste information. He could announce that in the near future he would open his church for refugees.

This I will agree with. But church involvement usually starts in the aftermath. How he handles that is pretty significant.
