If you aren't going to continue off of what CLU did and detail in more about what happened to Finn and how he biologically integrated with the machine wholly or the girl program that made it to the real world, what is the fukking point.
it was the bridge between the first and second movie. to see how the server got to the way it was and how tron himself had gotten colder was interesting. the flynns taking a backseat was a nothingburger
