I'm kinda interested to see how the Cavs look this year. They still have some pieces and Lue is overslighted as a coach.

:yeshrug:

They ain't making the Finals tho.

Everyone's saying that the Cavs are horrible, when after LeBron left there were dozens of Bron haters trying to pump up this team.

I think we get 6 seed. Still have a decent core.
Cavs lookin nice, they might make the playoffs :ehh:

No Bron, better defense lol :picard:
This Cavs team is a low-key 6/7/8 seed, way better spot then when Bron left the first time :ld:
I'm thinking about putting $500 on the Cavs to make the playoffs... paying $5.50 here in aus:ohhh:

a healthy love, Thompson and Hood in contract years, Osman and Sexton looking good... this team gonna have somethin to prove and should surely scrape in the east wit all them bum teams

thoughts family? I'm thinking it's a solid investment
They're definitely worse than TOR, BOS, PHI, MIL, MIA and IND. If they stay healthy and the Wiz and Pistons fall apart they got a chance to grab an 8 seed.
I like that over 30 tho, they gonna be a scrappy team.
Hornets seem like they want to make one last run with Kemba, Cavs really could make it, if you're one of the types that believe their vets were neutered by bron. its not like any of those guys left I believe. Knicks when Porzingis could make a run, especially if Knox lives up to the hype hes set
I bet 20. They can get the 8th seed if they try
50 on Kevin love taking this team to the playoffs.
I bet you those are over.
Him and Ty Lue probably immediately felt 10 years younger. Those bags around Ty Lue's eyes started disappearing, Kevin Love's grey hairs started turning dark.
They will probably make the playoffs next year, without all the extra stress of having to play with Lebron.
One thing I know is that Kevin Love would be at least 5x the player he was without Lebron there
The Coli when Love brings the Cavs to the playoffs and Bron and the Lakers don't get a spot is gonna be

He is going to ball out beyond everyone's expectations and make it to the playoffs and have the Cavs look competitive.

It'll be looked at as Sexton's team and Love will play a secondary role with no one having the opinion that it's Love's team.

That's what I'm trying to say. Thoughts?
Sexton
JR
Hood
Love
Thompson

Clarkson
Korver
Nance
Osman
Hill

  1. Raptors
  2. Celtics
  3. Heat
  4. 76ers
  5. Bucks
  6. Pacers
  7. Wizards
  8. Bulls
  9. Knicks
  10. Pistons/Hornets
:ehh: Cavs could be in the mix for an 8th seed. The Nets might come up though and push for the 8th slot too (Dinwiddie, Carroll, Russell, Dwight, Hollis-Jefferson, Lin, Crabbe)

Cavs got a nice core....... lowkey though :hubie:
They'll make the 8th seed

You act like the east is as stacked as the West...
Do the Cavs even have a chance to get a replacement level player to replace LeBron? Losing their best player for nothing is tough...they were just a Eastern conference 4thw seed and a few plays away of losing in the first round WITH LeBron...

If they replaced Bron, the best player in the conference by far, with a middling Eastern conference all-star wing... They could probably be somewhere close to 5th seed... Just love they can probably get the 38-40 games needed to get into the playoffs... He miss another 20games, probably not
Especially in the weak East. It’s not like the West where there are like 12 teams that could get in at any moment. Who in the East is gonna make that jump this year for a playoff berth? The baby Bulls? :mjlol: The abysmal Hornets? :mjlol: I won’t count out my Nets though :obama:

The Cavs still got their team intact, dudes like Cedi, JC, and Nance got some valuable experience and should take that next step hopefully. They still got shooters, JR, KK, Rodney Hood, Sam Dekker can shoot it.
And Colin Sexton should be their general, he can stick just about any PG in the league.
Speaking of defense, with LeBron gone the defense should pick up astronomically. Because it’s not like they didn’t have dudes that can’t defend, it’s always been an effort thing, starting up top with LeBron.

So why not the Cavs? :manny:
If their old guys play like the rep they had before being subjugated to Bron, they really could push for like 40-45 wins. Not too many lower seeded East teams will have like Rodney Hood, Osman, Zizic, guys like that shoreing up the bench. its all on potential, but their ceiling is like 5th seed imo.
Why people think the Cavs just gonna be scrubs now? That team still has enough to get in the playoffs in the East.. easily

the could make it

either way i won't be surprised

they are food in the postseason though if they even get there

"26 & 12" Kevin Love coming byke :banderas:

If the Cavs make the playoffs without lebron does that end "lebron had no help"

And that's just the ones I don't have on ignore. :russ:
