Triple H did have some gems during that run but for the most part his run was bland.

- HHH/HBK was good…

- HHH/Kane was disgusting..producing one of the worst moments in the company’s history (Katie Vick)

- HHH/Booker T started off good until the :mjpls:promo and then burying him on the biggest show of the year Wrestlemania. Booker eventually recovered by winning the belt a few years later but fukk that…Booker should’ve won.

- HHH/RVD had a classic match on Raw but HHH won it with a fukking DDT on the ramp:snoop:

- HHH/Goldberg was alright but Goldberg not going over at Summerslam in the elimination chamber kinda took the steam outta his victory a monthly later.

HHH/Steiner was atrocious. The segment where they had a pose off was :dame:

- HHH/Nash was probably the worst feud of that whole year and it even made Nash look uncool.

- HHH/Flair was good

- HHH/Orton was :russell: Orton’s face turn failed miserably.

- HHH/Eugene was :camby:

- HHH/Batista was great, the slow build up was done well, they’re matches were good and the right winner won at Wrestlemania.

I’m sure there’s some I’m leaving out but overall HHH’s run was medicore to being awful with some gems sprinkled in.

HHH vs Benoit is the one you forgetting, the best one of them all honestly

I don't remember it live but once I got back into it around '05 and did my research, I was a little surprised that they did this. The most egregious shyt was the Booker T angle in '03. Put Kane and RVD in the bushes too. Killed Randy Orton's momentum within a month.

I have nothing against HHH but that era when Austin/Rock were officially gone was like the feeling when you're on vacation (Attitude Era) and then you have to go back to work (Austin/Rock leave). It was rough. Even when Austin in his "sheriff" role it just didn't feel like WWE was must see TV anymore.

This was like Trips heel turn to the internet. He went from being their favorite worker from 99 to this literal point then they started every raw with a 45 minute hhh promo. Crazy how time flies:wow:

Yeah it was in '02 when they really turned on him. He came back super bulked on roids and hgh and wasn't the worker he was before the quad injury and then he pretty much buried Jericho in their WrestleMania feud and it only got worse from there.

That was around the time I stopped watching wrestling regularly.

Me too, I saw where things were headed and was like...

Tell me about it, I was in my mid 20's when that shyt happened, LOL.

Being just awarded a world heavy title really shows how big of a superstar you really are.

HHH had a incredible run from that point which was reminiscent of Flair's during his heyday

Shame so many people stopped watching at this time, you missed some legendary stuff, granted I was like 9 at the time but I fondly remember Jericho vs Shawn, the Kane umasking saga, Booker T/Goldust, Bischoff as GM, Benoit vs Angle, Rey Mysterio's return with the mask, early Cena, Lesnar, Big Evil Taker, etc

I didn't stop watching completely I just became more of a casual observer. I still watched almost all the PPV's I just wasn't catching all the TV's and reading up on all the dirt sheet stuff like I did before.

fukking smh...

I'm watching wwe from 2000 onwards... Me and my girl up to start of 2003. Like 3 months or so after this bullshyt. Wow this move was retarded... Seriously that was the best they could do? Not even a raw tournament? fatal four way? Even a fukking 1on1 match for it?! What a joke pal!!

And they merged the fukking intercontinental title with it?! And lost the European and hardcore belt.. literally only gold on fukkin triple h?!?

I don't care what they say .. these wrestling nikkas ain't no geniuses.. if they didn't have rock and Austin, they woulda been WCW status. Creative is, was and always will be fukking ass

Has there ever been an explanation for them throwing all the singles titles on the bushes except for the whc??
