Im not sure all the top guys in the E are getting that.
But I think the Japanese are just some different kinda cats, may not be as money hungry famished like us Americans

We can’t take that HOF seriously. If and when they go in, it will be on some “filler” type stuff.
I do agree there is only so many pushes they can do, but that’s only because it clogged up with like the same 8 people I mean, there’s a reason why certain cats have like 7+ title reigns while so many others have “nothing to do”
I will acknowledge there may be some exaggeration but it goes both ways just like it’s exaggerated that everyone in the E are millionaires and are big stars like Rock and Austin
Breh technically they can't cut a promo over in Japan either. English translation always results in the following:- Thanking the fans
- Wrestler challenges the champion
- Use of the word b*stard because "they mean business
" - Catchphrase
- Interview sports antics (I'm better than so and so, I will win such and such"
....folks complain about western promos need to take heed to some of those NJPW ones with English translation...woof

the reason why njpw fell off was because they ignored the north American gateway first opportunity to strap up Kenny.
instead they went with making Kenny wait till okada was this longest reigning shyt. When they would have been better served to put the title on omega. Even scsa said they lost when they kept the title on okada.

japan promos are videogame cut scenes dialogue in the wrong intellectual and performance space.
they really hurt themselves not using north American gateway grapplers who were hotnat the right moment.
which is why they had no boom.

Promos in puro have never been important and you can count on one hand the number of Japanese wrestlers known to have strong promos at all and in all cases it isn't really the promos but their general charisma (like Chono or Onita). American companies (and American fans) hiring a Japanese star even thinking about promos are already booking themselves into a hole they're never going to get out of.
