I think the "Bianca is being treated poorly" angle is just one of those new examples of how the IWC always has the "abused child" of the moment that they have to be in defense of no matter how much of a push they're getting/not getting (see: CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Asuka). Bianca has been on the main roster since 2020, walked out of three WrestleManias as Women's champion, is undefeated at Mania, has the longest running Women's title reign of the modern era, has had endorsements and TV series, and is generally always kept in a storyline or feud of some sort... and yet, people use words like "buried" to describe her place on the card.

If anything, and I don't think she's "buried" either, Naomi would be a better example considering her tenure and she NEVER got the push Bianca has gotten, so it's hard for me to act like Bianca's career is being destroyed if she loses a match or doesn't hold the top title all the time.

You're being obtuse right now. Nobody said Bianca was buried. She's been in the midcard for over a year and she's never been pushed like Rhea is currently. That's the only discussion that is going on right now.

The Rhea thing seems like the need for there to be a "bad guy" in the situation

we've all been watching this shyt long enough to know everybody takes a dip at some point which doesn't always last forever.

Wait, wait, wait.

Rhea Ripley

2019
- Got a WrestleMania match while still in NXT

2021 - Submitted Asuka at WrestleMania

2022 - Was all over TV as the main character during the Dirty Dom saga

2023 - Won the World title, again, at WrestleMania and was the champ for 380 Days (and would have been longer if she didn't get hurt)

2024 - Finally dropped the title, came back and immediately stayed in the main event scene for the women's division through multiple injuries

everybody takes a dip
:why: :why:

When is Rhea "dip" coming?

We just making Rhea the bad guy and overexaggerating for Bianca's sake and it's Bianca "time to cool off"?

Breh, all I said is I'm tired of her in the dead ass Women's Tag Team division. I'll leave it at that.

Bianca has had her Super-Woman moments, but, Rhea ain't "just finally getting the ball."

Again, this is less about Rhea (who I like a lot but have fair critiques of) and more about Bianca and people trying to normalize a 15 month cool off that isn't ending anytime soon.

No shot at her... I don't think mainstream media is going to invite her on shows looking the way she does. She looks like she's in a vampire cult.
And she knows that which is why she's been trying to soften her looks more, Chyna stood out at the 99 Emmys and still had Joan Rivers ugly ass say some slick shyt about her that she thought Chyna didn't hear.

"Never been pushed like Rhea is currently" is borderline convenient amnesia... because likewise, I could say she also didn't spend her first two years on the roster floating around with little direction like Rhea did. Rhea has also never headlined a Mania night (and probably isn't this year either), nor had a TV show... so let's not act like Rhea simply holding a title is on par with the stuff Bianca has done in her run. I'm all for Bianca being on top again, but the hyperbole going on feels too familiar- this is literally what the IWC does EVERY TIME there's a wrestler they like who isn't in the top spot at that moment.

The people trying to normalize it are the same that would be bytching if their favorite was booked the same way. In fact there's no need for the hypothetical because that's the main argument with Iyo's fanbase.

A drop from the first episode was always going to happen with Raw, as the article said. I wasn’t expecting a 49% drop in two weeks though.

Alas, I hate how Netflix measures viewership. It’s total time viewed divided by air time. It’s not a particularly accurate way to measure how many people actually watched.

Like 9 people could watch one hour of a three hour show but they would account for the same amount of viewership as three people who watched all three hours as the two groups each combined to watch 9 total hours. But one group had 9 viewers while the other had 3.

Meanwhile that also means repeat viewers account for more viewed hours, which would make the show look like it was watched by more people than it really was. One person could watch the show twice for 6 hours and account for the same viewership as 6 people who watched one hour.

Though I guess it’s not all too dissimilar from how Nielsen does it even if the formula is different as their formula is an average of the number of people who are watching per minute rather than a measure of how many unique viewers there were for the entire broadcast.

Like If I only watch the first hour of Dynamite and one of y’all only watch the second hour then we collectively only count as one viewer instead of two.

Either way, it’s not telling us how many unique viewers actually watched the show.

But WWE got paid HUGE, and when it comes to time for Netflix to pick up an option or re-sign WWE, them dropping three million viewers after two weeks isn’t going to mean shyt several years down the road.
