At least subscribing to WON back in the day meant you got big ass newsletter of content and wrestling history

I couldn’t imagine subscribing to Fightful… what are the benefits?

Saraya-Jade Bevis, aka Paige from WWE, revealed recently that McIntyre once saved her from another wrestler, who was later accused of child pornography, when she was just 14 years old. Moreover, he made sure that the creep never bothered Paige again by giving him a good thrashing.

Drew McIntyre saved Paige when she was 14 from a creep

Former WWE superstar Saraya-Jade Bevis, aka Paige, released her biographical book Hell in Boots: Clawing My Way Through Nine Lives on March 25th, 2025. In light of that, she appeared for an interview with Justin Dhillon of The Wrestling Classic.

While she had narrated the incident related to Drew McIntyre, she elaborated on it further in the interview. Stating that she had included a chapter in her book about her being in Scotland when she was “13 or 14 years old,” which included her encounters with Drew McIntyre when she was young. In it, she noted that a wrestler at the time was being creepy to her for a while. One day, McIntyre heard him say something really gross to her and gave him a good thrashing to teach him a lesson.

"I remember writing to Drew, being like, ‘…So, you remember this time when this guy said something really gross to me when I was like 14? And Drew said, ‘Oh yeah, oh yeah. I was like, yep, you come here, right?’…And he took him to the room, and he f*cking laid into him. Like, that scared the guy so much that he never talked to me ever again."

The creepy wrestler from that time later went on to be charged with child pornography. As such, it still scares her to think what might have happened if McIntyre had not intervened back then. She further added that she appreciates Drew McIntyre a great deal.

Not only because of his wrestling persona, but because of him being such an upstanding person out of the ring. Moreover, she is ecstatic about the fact that their friendship also resulted in McIntyre writing a quote for her book, as he got to read it before it was published.

Fans commend Drew McIntyre for his honorable act As stated above, fans have been loving every bit of the time Drew McIntyre gets in WWE’s elusive spotlight a lot all these years. However, this new information about his moral compass has only endeared him to fans more.

Many fans took to X to express their appreciation for the entertainment wrestler ever since clips from the interview started going viral. Especially because it also provided them with a fresh perspective to look at McIntyre from now on.

The WWE has bore witness to many changes in the past few years. From Vince McMahon‘s departure, Triple H becoming the face of administration, Mark Henry’s return to Paige expressing her desire to rejoin WWE once again (Hall of Fame podcast), it seems like new waves of change keeps coming to the company.

As such, many fans have been wondering whether Drew McIntyre will finally be able to bag his World Champion title soon. Although only time will tell what the future has in store for him, his fans are hoping for the best.

Another day and another point missed :mjlol: You must be doing it on purpose :russ: Nobody gives a shyt about Gable in a Lucha Mask. People don't like the Trumpisms but you strike me as someone who probably does.

Yeah, I'm missing the point because MFs don't understand how parody works. Just because you let Vince McMahon give you PTSD and now you tune in every week just to have something to bytch about, doesn't mean EVERYBODY treats this shyt the same way. And tryin' to tag me with being a Trumper because my feelings ain't hurt by this gimmick is some high-level goofball shyt... I don't watch wrestling to have my personal feelings placated, but it's clear that you do. Have fun with that shyt, couldn't be me! :mjlol:A nikka's feelings like yours, at this rate, would've never survived the Attitude Era and definitely not any era prior. 40 years ago, you would've been outside MSG calling for the Iron Sheik to be dropped from TV- "it's so insensitive, don't they know about Iran-Contra? This hurts my feelings!" :mjcry: Go outside, breh.

Telling me to "go outside" when you have no clue what's been going on around you since January :russ:

But I appreciate this post because it's full mask off... now everyone knows you're clueless to the environment around you. :mjlol:
