As a Charlotte stan I can’t defend shyt.Charlotte Flair fits pretty much everything the IWC used to complain about with Roman Reigns.

Booking is out of her control. That's understandable. There's really nothing to defend.
Again, I'll mention that she elevates nobody. Rhea is basically the only one you can make a case for. Asuka was built up just to be fed to Charlotte. Everyone that feuds with Charlotte comes out looking weaker than before.
She may have memorable matches, no memorable title reigns tho.
She's also shown zero character development. Been the same since her debut. Only thing that changes is her face.

Even tho he was booked above everyone else, at least Reigns wanted to elevate the guys he feuded with so they can be seen as a main eventer after they feud with him.
