Now that CFB is over, not sure what Fox is airing or could air. Seems like live sports is the best alternative to get decent ratings. Of course that's tough to do with media deals in place. Now with the NBA and NHL seasons going on they have their media deals, don't think either one with Fox tho. I think Fox does have MLB but not sure if they can put a Friday night game to try and get more viewers.

A lot of people aren't watching live tv anyways unless it's wrestling or sports, especially on a Friday night.

SD is the number 1 show on USA network easily clearing 2 and 3 combined. Which actually I had mentioned something in the AEW thread, without wrestling these networks be having some low as ratings. So for SD to beat Fox it's not the least bit surprising.

Yeah, maybe. If FOX didn't lose anything in terms of advertising on Fridays then whatever slight drop they have in total viewership means nothing. Raj has been a WWE shill for a while. He won't mention how many viewers the actual program has lost in a matter of a few months

But like I always say, WWE got the bag from USA so in the end does it matter?

I’d say that was pretty much to be expected as that is about how much audience they’d lose when they would get preempted to Fox Sports.

Fox didn’t want to bring back Smackdown because it they were losing money on the deal. Weren’t able to get enough advertising revenue to at least break even on the deal. And it’s not like they could use it as a loss leader to pump up the ratings for what followed it because that was local news.

I don’t know what they are airing in its place, but if they are at least breaking even on it then it’s a better deal for them than Smackdown was even if the viewership is less.

triple h is no better than vince booking wise, filler feuds,dead segments,obvious results( vince would give u a shock result every once in a while) i tried watching raw 3 weeks, shyt is dull, smackdown after 30 is death.......watching youtube clips is enough till mania.. they need to shake things up.

good storylines that dont always revolve around the title and no more 12 month runs, Gunther does not need a another year run,same with cody....the top guy doesnt always have to have the belt, specially for long periods of filler feuds......would not be surprised if both go in as champs and retain the way this dude books

But when it comes to being creative and remembering that this is a tv show hhh forgets that.
