Felt incomplete and fell off quick the second half. Man these Netflix originals continue to disappoint. It’s like the run out of money or just stop caring the second half of movies and shows.
Greed pretty much did them in though and I saw it coming a mile away.
Netflix or the Triple Frontier guys?

Was it really necessary to cgi shorty jumping through the rubble during the first chase?

Netflix always had the budgets and the look, but the movies always seem to lack a certain soul or heart, not to mention this having the most cliched and overdone device, with the well worn put upon American white man hero storyline extra emphasized. I've only watched the trailer, but I can tell I doubt I'll watch this,

Cliched drug lord in luxury mansion, check

Grizzled group of special forces on one last mission, check

Lush jungle settings and a betrayal or two, check

There are cases of ex commandos working for criminals and worldwide executions, but this goes so far over the top, it turns cartoonish. I feel the same way about Narcos. It looks good, but is just empty of any real insight or nuance about the worlds it is interested in.
