Is it c00nish to criticize black looters for destroying black businesses?

if they have to go out of business because of this and a Jew, Indian, Asian or regular cac buys or leases the property who suffers?

First know the geography of Miami pls. And know the race of the looters pls. She mentioned her friends “shop” and mentioned Bayside Marketplace(a tourist trap on biscayne bay made up of Latin and White owned stores/shops) and its far away from any predominantly black neighborhood, so you can’t even assume it was just her friends shop that was targeted nor can you assume the looters were black nor can you assume they knew it was a black owned business. So far we’ve already had a black reality show star crying about folks looting Gucci, we need to stop acting like it’s only black ppl looting and it’s only black businesses being targeted. Miami is legit 65% Hispanic and only 18% Black. I’ll wait for the facts!

Her friend black owned business was destroyed by blacks and she's right. There are tons of people out here looting who don't give a damn about any type of social justice. They just looting just to loot. My timeline is filled with posts like (When yall loot the best buy over here let me know so i can grab a switch) That has NOTHING to do with George Floyd.

And everytime people bring up the black on black crime argument yall just double down on "u a c00n" No one actually disputes that argument which is 100% true. Blacks kill other blacks FAR more then the cops do and those deaths are just as senseless. Black people are out here killing other blacks over a game of spades.

The cops are straight pigs and i very much believe that the message at large is the right one. But yall really are sheep on here just looking for the next person to "cancel" It's easy to support rioting when it's not effecting you personally.

But REAL problem is that it shouldn't be happening in the first place. I've said this is previous posts that cops should have to live in the districts they work. They should be apart of the communities they are policing.

The entire policing protocol needs to be changed if anything is going to really move the needle.

Well the facts are that things WILL happen as Cops are human beings. The issue is there is RARELY any consequence when things do happen ESPECIALLY when things are done against African-Americans.

I agree to an extent. She has every right to be angry about her friends shop and I don't blame her, HOWEVER now is not the time to bring up black on black crime. That is a MAJOR topic our community has to discuss, but not at this moment.

This. Everyone has compassion for the people looting & rioting because they've been through a lot.

But no one has compassion for black people who own businesses. People act like once a black person owns a business, they are exempt from racism. Everybody black is going through it with the police brutality and covid, and now add to that the stress of having your entire merch and storefront destroyed is something I can't even imagine. We live in a society where people are told to be down to die for a chain, yet a business owner gets their storefront destroyed and it's "Oh you got insurance, STFU".

If my store got destroyed during a protest because police escalated things and protesters went crazy, I would be upset but understanding. If my shyt got destroyed and looted completely unrelated to the protest outside of happening during the same weekend, then it's fukk those people.
