Man Killer Mike has some dark humor that takes some getting used to. Watching the second episode and he got me kinda heated no lie.. but the more I watch, the more I realize that this show is supposed to be real light hearted even though it deals with real issues.

This third episode is brilliant though.

I like some of the ideas but the execution kinda off

Mike is a free thinker but breh be lackin nuance in his shyt so it come off kinda silly

I liked the Crip episode best

Watched the second episode last night. Breh coming to the conclusion that there needs to be vocational porn is fukking hilarious.

Unless I mixed the names up, the subtle joke about the guy hitting the :hhh: to the door segment with the two guys actually seeing the biggest score increase on that specific section was hilarious.

I also like that on the surface, the message was that skill/trade learning is at an all time low, but the REAL point he was getting across is that so many of us in the community have been taught that it's lame to aspire to basically have steady work. The old white guy in the class basically said his dream was to have steady sustainable work. All the brehs he asked said some shyt like "music", despite being past the age where they can realistically launch a music career, and likely without any of the necessary skillset. shyt was low-key heartbreaking :francis:
Was watching with my 20 yr old nephew who aspires to be a shytty rapper and he was clowning those dudes....calling them old and shyt...so I hit him with "you're on that same path" and I saw the hurt and worry in his face...he stayed at our house this weekend and all that seems to be on his mind is rap and what rappers are doing from sun up to sun down....and trust me when I say he's a terrible rapper that's actually putting it lightly...sadly soo many young blk men can't just listen and enjoy the music...they feel a need to be in it and think its easy and they time is coming.....just sad and frustrating at the sametime
