shyt he could just hire a window installer and get double paned insulated ones fukk what the landlord be saying...:what:

I agree with you, but fukk a landlord. Homie literally complaining about being cold and thinks he just has to live with it?

He can get some duct tape, a garbage bag and and someone old towels and have that shyt fixed where air ain't leaking in and his heat ain't leaking out in 20 mins.

agreed he also needs to look into insulation guns to seal the cracks around the windows too...:hhh: I hate single paned old windows...When I get my house im gonna make sure my shyt is thick and no cold air ever seep through the cracks... That's the worse thing about living in an old house.

Let me get this shyt straight. The owners of the building bytched because I painted my living room something other than white, and you expect me to do a custom window install? This ain't a condo or co-op. I don't own that property. Even if it was there would be a board to get approval from. :what:

The windows are old as fukk. Even with some of my fixes the wind and cold still comes through. They need to put in new windows and it's why people with kids keep moving out after a year or two. It's why my new neighbor said that he's out when his lease is up.

Seriously. You have people saying "thats not cold". It's cold to us and we have to cover plants and worry about losing citrus trees and other stuff from the temp drop. Goes 0-100, then back to 0.
I know breh I witnessed the weakness firsthand when I lived in Florida. People shivering anytime it drops below 50 degrees, while I was still rocking a tee shirt:mjlol:. They hide from the heat in the summer and hide from chill in the winter. When a tropical storm comes they buy water for the first time that year and evacuate the cities. Weakest breed of people I've ever seen in my life:pachaha:

That's me now. I gotta put on something up top, light hoodie/wind breaker. I can deal with the temp drops most times, but once the wind picks up, burrrr city walking my dog. Can't take the windchill.

Whats funny, most people come from up north and settle here and their blood thins out quick. The hilarious shyt used to be when people were like.... this ain't cold, I'm from NY. I'm like bruh, you were born in NY and moved to Florida when you were 2 years old, you're 25+ now. Stop trying to put on an act.

You damn right about hiding from heat. 78 today tho, I can deal with this mild weather all year. That 90 but feels like 107 is coming soon.

Above the fray.

there's a compromise

an even better non permanent solution is to get these some masking tape, some heavyweight clear vinyl shower curtains and seal the windows.
You should definitely seal the window with the AC unit.....exactly the way NBW described..unless landlord is paying for heat. If he is, and has no cover on the ac........fire up the heat.
