It's so hard to evaluate pro QB now cause putting up numbers is so fukking easy now with how the rules are in place and the game is officiated.
Like guys like Goff and Wentz don't look bad on paper but Rams literally won a SB as soon as they dumped Goff for someone mildly better and Indy couldn't wait to dump Wentz after 1 year.
I still like to see QB for like 3 years before making a real judgment. Unless they're very clearly trash like a Darnold.

He'll be good eventually. He just doesn't have much talent around him right now like Josh Allen in 2018-2019. But soon as he gets his Stefon Diggs he'll be a Pro Bowl QB. To me he's more talented than Burrow and Herbert.

Based off hype he needs either a heavy stat pad season and lose. Or become the gamey "winner" that rides the back of the defense to the playoffs.
Because the defense is gonna be nice as hell this season. But I have no problem giving all the credit to the QB win he goes 18/23 201 1 td lol
How about just watching him play and seeing if he's balling or not? Stats and wins don't always correlate to a guy being good or not. For example, in 2018 Josh Allen had neither the stats nor wins to show for his efforts. However, if you watched him play (like I did), then you would know he's a baller.
I'm not saying Trevor Lawrence is Josh Allen. I had Trey Lance rated as the #1 QB in his draft. However, I do think people are dumping on him a little too soon. He simply didn't have the guys around him last year to make a proper evaluation. This year should be better. But base that on his tape. Not wins and stats which can be products of circumstance.

I'm more picking at the narratives then the actual football. I'm a jags fan so I can see 100 percent that he and the offense will be way better. And when they finally get a big time wr it's gonna take off. The media is already trying to turn the ship around with the "watch out for Trevor to surprise this year" .
