AD was a bootleg 3 Feet De La Soul years after the fact with none of the cleverness
And NBN was always corny as shyt to me.
"YOU DOWN WITH OPP?!"
"HERE WE GOOOOOOOOOO, GFDJGSNDOGNOFDGS, FEEL ME FLOOOOOW"
:fohch:
And how exactly did you come to this conclusion sir
I just read that in Treach's voice too
.
youre cornyMore fukkery lets fukkin go
Apparently. Lawd knows it wouldn't be the first time or the lastSo Tupac and most of the industry was a fan of corny nikkas?
Listen to their chit, bruh - it ain't that tight.
They had one dude in the group who could rap aight, and the other two were hit or miss (mostly miss).
The best thing they had going for them (at least early) was they knew when to change up the beat when they started
to drag.

Man De La are all time greats breh. Yeah they like to rap in riddles but thats half the draw to me. They say some profound shyt thats likely to pass right by you, so of course that led to repeated listens
And the beats were always dope
We gon have to agree to disagreeI didn't say a damn thing about them rapping in riddles, there's nothing wrong with that.
They just aren't that ill rappin'.
And the beats did the job, but they weren't "dope". They got about 3 beats you can say are
worth mentioning, and then they at least had sense enough to let Dilla handle that chit as
they fell back.
If you put all the rappers in Native Tongues in one room, Pos is the only one in De La that might crack Top 5 -
and that's not a given, either.
