that may be so (I doubt it but who knows since im not from there)

but Young Thug is not from New Orleans, hes from Atlatna and ive done heard 1000 atlanta rappers and records and never heard anyone before young thug say the gay shyt he uses , so that lets mek now its not some common slang n shyt down there.. its pretty much exclusive to him

The guy is unique and does things to set himself apart hence why in spite of so many people "not liking" him, there's a there's multiple new threads discussing him almost every single week.

how come none of the lousiana rappers we been listening to for the past 20 years have been using this slang of calling men lovers and baes since its so common.

What's common in street use isn't necessarily overused in music, kinda like people referring to extendo clips as dikks, that's common in New Orleans but many people here haven't heard that slang until Young Thug or Kevin Gates said it on a song.

He over doing it a lil bit to defend thug, but he not totally off base. nikkaz call each other bytch as that video showed and nikkaz mainly call bytches love. U will rarely hear it to a man.

I never once heard a nikka call a man lover tho

You'll hear older men using lover, the younger generation says love "wuzzam love", the point is that there's nothing sexual about it at all like people are implying. We both know that in new Orleans we wouldn't refer to a random dude as bytch because yall ain't on that level but you might refer to your friend, round, or la homie as bytch, which is why I can understand how thug is using bae and lover in the exact same way, there's nothing sexual about it, but it obviously makes some men uncomfortable, which is understandable, I'm not one of those guys, I'll tell my nikkas I love them in a heartbeat and wouldn't think twice about it.

Go fukk yourself, Midwest
Stop it, bro. You know damn well you not wearing a dress and calling your friends your lover because that sh!t is gay as fvck. It's batty boi behavior. 100% of the time you ever see a man that wears dresses, and call men his lovers, he likes to indulge in playing with other men's booty. Just say you like the dude music even though he's a f@ggot. The Coli would have more respect for you if you did, breh.
This nikka really said its not uncommon for a nikka to refer to his brehs as love, lover or bae or baby :mjlol: what a limp wrist fakkit...
