The new bundle rule seems to have adjusted something’s cause he did like 400k last time I wanna say

Apart from Drake I’m guessing this is the norm for major global star debuts cause I think Kendrick did similar and everyone was talking about that was a step down from Damns first week numbers

To be clear though these are all amazing still

Just saw the proper its 275k streams plus 250k so 500k plus which makes more sense

Will he be number #1 or does he have to compete with some country singer?

Yeah I’m confused as fukk at that reporting. So w

Tbh I never saw the argument against. Ppl spend more money on those hoodies and shyt than what an album cost. There should be a minimum dollar amount for the bundle that should be acceptable as a sale. Like you can’t sell a $3 poster and try to count that as an album sale but $40+ tshirts and $90+ hoodies should count.

Agreed.

If the labels are going to fukk over artists on both their sales (1500 streams equaling ONE album sale is fukking ridiculous) AND make them sign 360’s then the artists should be able to sell bundles and have that count towards a unit sold.

Even if you don’t love the music, you’ve got to appreciate a rapper who takes his craft very seriously. Unlike his peers like Durk, Baby and them who seem to only see this as some easy money grab

Therefore I’m also happy that he moves more units than those dudes. Just like Kendrick and Cole, who also take their shyt seriously although lately it’s been hit or miss, they try to innovate. They wanna top best of the year lists, not just sell records to birds
What makes you think he takes the “craft” any more serious than them?

This album is overproduced trash and Durk and Baby are better rappers.

Travis is one of the biggest rap artist we have in the modern era. His fans don’t care about lyricism and bars so some of y’all need to stop being disingenuous. Travis will never say anything that goes over your head but there’s a lane for his music. It’s 2023… if you think these kids under 25 care about lyrics then I have a bridge to sell to you.

Ice Spice is popping right now and she says the most basic shyt. It’s not 1993 anymore guys.. it’s ok to admit an artist isn’t for you without sounding out of touch.

Trending towards 400k now. Physical sales potentially lower than expected?
